The Singapore Economic Resilience Taskforce will help our businesses and workers better adapt to the new economic realities. We will continue to seek out new ways for our companies and our workers to do business and to earn a living. To do so, we must open up, team up, and speed up: we will strengthen our ties in ASEAN and beyond, and accelerate workforce and enterprise transformation efforts with our tripartite partners. We will set aside the resources to provide help for our companies, workers, and families. We will do this for as long as necessary, to give confidence and assurance to our people that we have your back — that this is a Government you can count on. We are expanding our rail network to improve connectivity for all. By the 2030s, eight in ten households will be within a 10-minute walk of a train station. Having more MRT lines and stations will also enhance the overall resilience of our rail network, by providing commuters alternative travel routes.
