·1-5Saucy Beef & Broccoli Ramen🥦 This one is a MUST make, especially if you are looking for a simple and delicious dinner that comes together in less than 30 minutes! This one is a family faaaaav!
✨I always switch up the noods for this one - ramen, udon, rice noods - use what you like! Using the @HexClad wok
✨Recipes are ALWAYS linked in my bi0 on sammymontgoms dot com but I will also leave it down below⬇️ Ingredients What You'll Need: * 2 packs ramen or noodles of choice (170 grams total) * 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced * 3 cups broccoli florets chopped into bite sized pieces * 1/4 cup water for steaming the broccoli * 1 tsp sesame oil * 1 tsp worcestershire The Sauce: * 2 tbsp olive oil * 1 tsp sesame oil * 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar * 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium * 1 tbsp oyster sauce * 1/2 cup beef broth unsalted or low sodium * 1 tbsp sriracha * 1 tbsp honey * 1 heaping tbsp cornstarch * 3 garlic cloves chopped fine * 1 tbsp fresh ginger chopped fine * 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes Garnish: * sesame seeds optional * green onions optional * peanuts optional Instructions * Begin by cooking your ramen or noodle of choice.
Cook according to package instructions but take it off the heat 2 minutes before it's finished cooking, as it will continue cooking when you add it to the pan.
Strain and set aside until ready to use.
* Prepare the steak by slicing it into thin, bite sized pieces and add it to a medium sized bowl.
(see my tips and faq's above to achieve perfectly sliced beef)
Add the sesame oil and worcestershire to the beef and gently mix to combine.
Let rest while you prepare everything else.
* Wash and chop your broccoli into bite sized pieces and set aside until ready to use.
* To a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients (cornstarch last) and whisk until no clumps remain.
* To a large frying pan set to medium/high heat, add a splash of canola oil or peanut oil and once hot, add the beef.
* Fry the beef for 2-3 minutes, just until browned and cooked to your liking.
* Remove the beef from the pan and set aside momentarily, and reduce the heat to medium.
* Add the broccoli and water, cover with a lid and allow the broccoli to steam for 2-3 minutes, or until cooked to your preferance.
* Next, reduce the heat to low/medium, return the beef to the pan, followed by the ramen and pour over the sauce.
* Bring to a light simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Gently toss until everything is mixed together and coated evenly.
Taste here to see if you need to adjust the seasoning.
(This will depend if you used a salted beef broth and low sodium soy sauce)
* Remove from the heat, garnish with sesame seeds, green onions and peanuts.

·2-7One-Pan Creamy Pesto Chicken & Broccoli Pasta Bake 🤤 I took some time off from TikTok this year, but I’m BACK baby and ready to share tons of recipes and launch some new series! One-pan meals have my heart, so I figured what better way to make my return than with a cheesy, delicious one-pan pasta bake To be honest, I completely forgot I was filming this as one-pan 🙃 so I didn’t cook the pasta in the same pan BUT I will write in the caption how to cook your pasta in the same pan if that’s the way you wanna go! LMK if you make this one!! Ingredients: 1lb pasta of choice 5-6 cups chicken broth (if making the one-pot version) 1/3 cup cun-dried tomatoes + oil 1lb chicken 1 tbsp butter 1/2 yellow onion, diced Salt and pepper, to taste Paprika, to taste Oregano, to taste Tony’s seasoning, to taste 1 head of garlic, minced (or to taste) 2 cups heavy cream 1-2 cups cooked broccoli, to taste 2 handfuls spinach, to taste 2 cups freshly shredded parmesan cheese (plus more for topping and serving) 2 cups shredded mozzarella (I used @Tillamook in this recipe) 1/2 cup pesto, to taste (I recommend Costco brand) Parsley to garnish (If you’re cooking your pasta in the same pot, make sure you use a bigggg pan or dutch oven) One-Pot Version: 1. Preheat oven to 350F 2. In a large (oven-safe) saucepan or dutch oven, heat about 1tbsp of sun-dried tomato oil over medium/high heat. Cook your chicken until no longer pink. Remove from pan and set aside. Let rest for a few minutes and then cut into bit sized pieces. 3. In the same pan, melt your butter. Add in your seasonings and stir to toast. Add in your onion and sauté for 4 minutes or so. Throw in your garlic and stir for another 30 seconds. 4. Pour in your chicken broth, season with a pinch of salt, stir, and bring to a simmer. 5. Once simmering, pour in your pasta. Stir, cover, and simmer until pasta is cooked through. This should take about 15-25 minutes, but keep an eye on it and stir occasionally. (Tip: start with 5 cups of broth, then add more if needed). 6. Once your pasta is cooked, pour in your heavy cream and stir. Simmer for a couple of minutes. 7. Reduce heat to medium/low. Add in 1 cup of parmesan and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Stir until melted. 8. Add in your sun-dried tomatoes, cooked broccoli, spinach, and pesto. Stir. 9. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes, then finish under the broiler for another 5 minutes, or until you have a nice and golden crust. 10. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, a touch more parmesan, and enjoy! Video Version: 1. Preheat oven to 350F 2. Boil noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside. 3. In a large (oven-safe) saucepan or dutch oven, heat about 1 tbsp of sun-dried tomato oil over medium/high heat. Cook your chicken until no longer pink. Remove from pan and set aside. Let rest for a few minutes and then cut into bit sized pieces. 4. In the same pan, melt your butter. Add in your seasonings and stir to toast. Add in your onion and sauté for 4 minutes or so. Throw in your garlic and stir for another 30 seconds. 5. Pour in your heavy cream and stir. Simmer for a couple of minutes. 6. Add in 1 cup of parmesan and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Reduce heat to medium/low, and stir until melted. 7. Add in your sun-dried tomatoes, cooked broccoli, spinach, and pesto. Stir. 8. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes, then finish under the broiler for another 5 minutes, or until you have a nice and golden crust. 9. ·2-18Protein coffee…The only way you should be starting your day imo Not sponsored at all so relaxxxx. But if you follow along on my stories you would know I smash this every.single.morning. Starting my day with a decent amount of protein has been a game changer for me in my health and weight loss journey. And once I discovered this wonderful beautiful concoction, I’ve never looked back. This + sourdough, cottage cheese and honey is how I start my day 90% of the time and it keeps me sooo satiated. The key to a thick, luxurious consistency is to use 150ml of milk instead of the full 250ml. I use @equ WPI in caramel or chocolate for a mocha moment. 10/10 would smash every day for the rest of my life. Get amongst it and thank me later 🤝🏼 #protein #coffee #proteincoffee

·2-17Ep 39 | - Hoisin Sauce | HOW TO SHOP AT YOUR LOCAL ASIAN GROCER A sweet, savoury and salty Cantonese style sauce made from fermented soybean paste and seasoned with things like five spice, sugar and other regional variational ingredients. Great to use in stir fries, stews and dips. Often paired with roast duck or hard as a meat glaze for grilled/bbq meats. Try adding a teaspoon or two to stews and stir fry’s to add complexity and flavour to them or use as a dip for more bland things like poached chicken and veggies. 🎥 at Jadan on Dominion Rd, Auckland, New Zealand. #hoisin #hoisinsauce #howtoshop #asiangrocer #shoppingguide #masterchef #modernchinese #foodie #recipes

·2024-10-24Basic but bloody good burritos on the table in 20 minutes Dishes from my childhood Pt3 Filling: 1 tbsp olive oil 1 brown onion, diced Salt and pepper Old el pasa taco seasoning mix 500g lean beef mince 400g 4 bean mix (or whatever beans you prefer) 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp paprika 1 cup water Guac: 2 avos 1 garlic clove, finely grated Handful fresh parsley, finely chopped 1/2 lime, juiced (or a whole one, you decide) Salt and pepper Sour cream Cheese of choice Iceberg lettuce, shredded Tomatoes, diced Crunchy jalapeños I dipped it ranch because I had a fresh batch and I’m obsessed but chipotle mayo would slap with this also. Notes: - You need to let the meat reduce so the water can evaporate. You want to be able to move the mixture around the pan without it seeping into the middle #burrito #mexicanfood #easyrecipes #dinnerideas
